Confirm correct delivery address with carrier and chock truck wheels in dock. Unload material and place in designated receiving lane with space in between each stack.
Once all unloaded confirm part and quantity with packing list and create system ASN.
Using created ASN and scanning system, scan each pallet that will print each internal label.
Label each pallet while matching each label to its corresponding pallet.
Once labeled the shipment is received and ready to be put away.
*If material arrives damaged notify manager and take pictures BEFORE moving from truck. Alert supplying customer and carrier of damage for further instruction.
Inventory Put-away Process
Pull material from completed receiving lane to open inventory location.
Scan internal label on pallet: LOT NO
Scan destination location: TO LOC
Click save on scanner to confirm inventory move.
Repeat process for all pallets.
Shipping Setup Process
Confirm order information from customer/recipient party.

Create BOL with confirmed shipment information.
Create order in system with part/quantity/destination information.
Allocate material onto shipment in First In First Out order based off system receiving transaction date and print picklist for warehouse associate.
Print any necessary labels for shipment.
Book pickup with carrier if needed.
Warehouse forklift operator will pull material from FIFO picklist and stage in outbound shipping lane.
Once full order pulled, label each unit to prepare for loading.
After labeled audit the full shipment double checking all part and quantities are correct. Confirm correct FIFO pallets were pulled from picklist.
Load truck while taking a picture for each layer loaded.
Carrier will sign BOL to accept.
Ship order out of inventory system and file BOL for future reference.
